ITA Releases 2013 Division III Northeast Regional Rankings

BOSTON, Mass. -- Simmons Tennis doubles pair Margaret Teague (Manchester, N.H.) and Meghan Cokely (Haverhill, Mass.) are the first in Simmons history to be ranked by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association in the 2013 Women?s Division III Northeast Regional preseason rankings announced Thursday afternoon.

BOSTON, Mass. -- Simmons Tennis doubles pair Margaret Teague (Manchester, N.H.) and Meghan Cokely (Haverhill, Mass.) are the first in Simmons history to be ranked by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association in the 2013 Women's Division III Northeast Regional preseason rankings announced Thursday afternoon.

 

The duo, ranked #15 in the Northeast, went 11-2 this season and an undefeated 3-0 in the conference regular season. Teague and Cokely added valuable points in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference tournament to lead Simmons to their 6th consecutive conference championship on Oct. 27th.  Over the last two seasons, the pair has amassed an overall record of 22-10 at #1 doubles.

 

The Northeast region is made up of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey.
