Reinhard Named GNAC Player of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. -- Simmons Tennis first year Theresa Reinhard (Canton, Ohio) was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Tennis Player of the Week announced Tuesday by the conference.

 

Reinhard recorded a pair of victories in the Sharks 9-0 shutout win over the Anna Maria AMCATS. She posted 6-1, 6-0 at the number two singles spot and also earned an 8-3 victory when she teamed up with Sofie Epshtein (Newton, Mass.) in the number two spot for doubles play. 

 

The Sharks are now 7-2 overall and 3-0 in the GNAC. Simmons travels to Suffolk University Wednesday evening for a conference match beginning at 6:00 PM.
