The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced Monday evening the selection of Stacey Kohan (Milford, CT) as Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Kohan finished 2-0 in the first week of competition as Simmons' number two singles position player.

"I'm not sure what is more impressive-- being named GNAC Player of the Week in the opening week for the second consecutive season or being named GNAC Player of the Week in the #2 position after playing much lower in the line-up last season," said Head Coach Bob Rauseo. "Stacey's off-season commitment the past two seasons has propelled her to being one of the elite players in the league."
