Basketball Announces 2015-16 Recruiting Class

BOSTON, Mass. - Simmons College Basketball has announced its 2015-16 recruiting class to begin regular season play in the winter of 2015.

BOSTON, Mass. - Simmons College Basketball has announced its 2015-16 recruiting class to begin regular season play in the winter of 2015.

The Sharks will welcome 10 players to the squad to vie for the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship.

The following student-athletes will be suiting up for Simmons in the winter.

Elena Bragg (Belmont, Mass.), who played for Belmont High School.

Rebekah Carroll (Londonderry, N.H.), who played for Londonderry High School.

Francesa Corsinetti (Johnston R.I.), who played for Saint Mary Academy - Bay View.

Alexandra Daukaus (Jenkintown, Germany), who played for Frankfurt International School.

Jordan Frisbie (South Chatham, Mass.), who played for Monomoy Regional High School.

Jessica Phinney (Malden, Mass.), who played for Mystic Valley Regional Charter School.

Jackelyn Robarge (Belmont, N.H.), who played for Belmont High School.

Madeline Skubisz (Durham, N.H.), who played for Portsmouth Christian Academy.

Mary Soares (Manchester, N.H.), who played for Manchester Central High School.

Kathleen Sullivan (Melrose, Mass.), who played for Melrose High School. 

Simmons Basketball improved its win total last year from the previous season and posted a higher average in nearly every statistical category from last year. All but one returner on the roster enjoyed a career year in scoring per game, while seven of the nine returners racked up more rebounds per game than in any season in their respective careers.
