The Sharks honored senior Liz O'Connor (Milton, Mass.) before the game, presenting her with the game ball from Jan. 31st when she netted her 1,000th career point.

In the first half, the Sharks were led by freshman Jen Janiak (Chelmsford, Mass.) who went 3-5 from behind the arc and sophomore Olivia LaCroix (Manchester, N.H.) added eight in the paint. Junior Leah Davis (Cranston, R.I.) came off the bench to score eight including a three pointer with 0.5 seconds remaining in the half.

With several lead changes in the first half, the Cadets (10-15, 4-8 GNAC) took the lead for good with 11:29 remaining off a free throw by Aliah Curry, who finished the first half with a team high 14 points. Forward Jessalyn Sweeney added 13 points, including two three pointers that gave the Cadets momentum into halftime.
