Junior forward Stephanie Fox (West Springfield, Mass.) scored a team-high ten points  as the Simmons basketball team fell to Oneonta State, 76-40, in the first round of the Hunter College Women's Basketball Alumni Tip-Off Tournament at the Hunter College Sportsplex on Friday evening. The Sharks fall to 2-1 while the Red Dragons improve to 2-0.

Junior guard Julianna Eagles (Quincy, Mass.) tallied eights points, two steals, two rebounds, two steals and one assists while senior captain Sarah Clayton (Falmouth, Mass.) added nine points.  Fox and freshman forward Alex Acloque (Randolph, Mass.) each grabbed four rebounds. 

Oneonta State was led by Rebecca Bucci who scored twenty points and added five assists and two steals. 

The Sharks will face St. Joseph's (NY) in the consolation game tomorrow, scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
