Former Simmons standout player Kristen Fucarile '06 has been named the Head Girls Varsity Basketball coach at the Maimonides School in Brookline, MA.

Fucarile graduated from Simmons as the Basketball program's all-time career leader in assists (351). She holds the single season record for assists (106), and also ranks 2nd all-time for total games played (100).

Prior to her appointment at Maimonides, Fucarile was the Head Coach of the Michael Driscoll Middle Girls basketball team in Brookline, MA, and has coached at various camps throughout New England.

"Kristen will do a terrific job in leading the Maimonides school program to the next level," said Simmons Head Basketball Coach Tony Price. "As a point guard during our successful run at Simmons she was the catalyst and coach on the floor. She is a good communicator and a patient teacher—the players at the high school will want to play for her and they'll work hard."
