LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Simmons Softball received four nods as the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 2014 NFCA Division III All-Region Softball Teams Saturday.
BOSTON, Mass. -- Simmons Softball, who made it to the GNAC Championship game for the first time since 2004, received six nods when the 2014 GNAC Softball All-Conference Honors were released Monday afternoon. The Sharks, who finished the year 27-10, 17-5 GNAC lost in the opening game of the GNAC tournament on Friday to enter the loser’s bracket but fought their way back to play on Sunday in the Championship.
