CLEARWATER, Fla. – Simmons lacrosse (1-1) earned its first victory of the season with a 14-9 victory over Grove City College (1-4) on Wednesday morning.

Graduate senior Abby Stoller registered seven goals and an assist. Junior midfielder Marita Nothacker added a pair of goals, while also winning six draw controls and scooping up three ground balls. Fellow junior Maggie Callender had an outstanding game with four ground balls and one caused turnover in the victory.

 Simmons returns to action on Saturday, March 11 when they open GNAC action hosting the University of St. Joseph (Conn.) at 1 p.m.
