Fox had a standout season for the Sharks, leading Simmons in scoring (412, 15.8ppg), rebounds (239, 9.2rpg), and blocks (73). She placed second in the conference in scoring (397), and led the conference in blocked shots (72) and defensive rebounds (182).

"Stephanie Fox is the first Shark to be named to the first team twice, which is a testament to her talent and ability," said Head Coach Tony Price. "She was a legitimate Player of the Year candidate who came through in a number of contests for us this season."

Eagles was second on the team in scoring (368), 3-point field goals made (65), assists (78) and minutes played (34.1/game). She led the conference in free throw percentage (.904), and placed third in t-point field goals made (64, 2.6/game).

"I'm very happy for Julianna—her efforts and contributions have finally been recognized," said Price. "She is by far one of the top ten players in this conference, and I'm glad my peers agree. The staff and team at Simmons believed she was an all-conference player all along."

In her sophomore season, Acloque saw more action in the Sharks lineup, and made a significant contribution as a Simmons athlete. "The sportsmanship award is well deserved for Alex. I think she exemplifies the true meaning of the award," said Price. "Alex competes hard, yet doesn't get into verbal confrontations, or worry about personal stats or playing time. Her teammates respect the work she puts in and although her stats don't jump out at you, the staff and team recognize that she was a key member of our successful run in the GNAC this season."
