Three Softball Student-Athletes Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

BOSTON – Three members of the Simmons softball team received College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District honors the organization announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Seniors Shannon McMahon and Emma Thacher along with junior Jordyn Rubin earned All-District honors for the first time in their careers.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. 

To be an Academic All-District® honoree, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore at their institution and have spent at least one full year at that particular school, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above, and have played at least 50 percent of their team's contests as a starter or important reserve.
