Senior Field Hockey goalkeeper Jen Szkolt (Bondsville, Mass.) has been named the North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week, the NAC announced on Monday.

The honor follows a week where Szkolt had 12 saves in a 3-2 loss to Western New England College. Szkolt anchored the Simmons defense, keeping the contest close.

"Jen is a solid goalie, especially on tough, tight, initial shots, and she has become a more vocal part of our defense," said Head Coach Kate Leonard. "This recognition is a great way to reward the effort she has put into improving and growing as a Sharks goalie."
