Title: Assistant Volleyball Coach

Rachel Renville joins the Simmons Volleyball staff in 2018 for her first year with the Sharks.

The former outside hitter has gained valuable coaching experience over the last four seasons and enjoyed outstanding success both at the High School and Club level of competition. Renville directed the Ballistic Volleyball Club in Superior, Colo. to a 17-2 mark as the squad's Head Coach following a three-season stint as an asssistant for the program. Ballistic Volleyball posted an impressive 51-3 record during the three seasons she was an assistant. During that time, Renville also honed her coaching skills as the Head Coach for Holy Family High School in Broomfield, Colo., leading them to a third-place showing in the 4A State Championship in 2017, following a second-place effort in the state tournament the previous year, while she was an assistant. Renville also served as the C-Team Head Coach for two campaigns at Holy Family.

Renville was in the midst of a promising collegiate career following a rookie season with Milligan College in Tennessee that saw her land a spot on the Freshman All-Conference squad, before her playing days were curtailed due to injury. The Colorado native was also named to the All-Academic Team following her sophomore season with the Buffaloes in 2012. Prior to her collegiate career, Renville was a standout on the club circuit and earned a spot at junior nationals with the Colorado Juniors in 2010.

Renville graduated in 2014 from Milligan with a degree in Business and Marketing and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Applied Human Development with an emphasis in Coaching at Boston University.
