WINTHROP, Mass. – A pair of victories on Saturday afternoon helped Simmons volleyball (16-10, 10-3 GNAC) clinch the fourth seed in the 2022 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament announced by the league Saturday evening.

The Sharks will host the fifth seeded Pride of Regis College (20-12, 9-4 GNAC) in the GNAC Quarterfinals on Tuesday, November 1 at the Holmes Sports Center at 7 p.m. Simmons defeatd Regis, 3-0, in their first meeting this season on September 17.

Last year's regular season champion Rivier University (25-4, 13-0 GNAC) earned the top seed while defending champion Johnson & Wales (17-11, 11-2 GNAC) claimed the second seed. Lasell University (18-13, 10-3 GNAC) solidified the third seed by the head-to-head tiebreak with the Shark.
