WINTHROP, Mass. – Junior setter Kat Simeonidis secured Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Setter of the Week for the second time this season announced by the league Monday afternoon. 

Kat Simeonidis guided Simmons to a 2-0 week which included a pair of non-conference victories in western Massachusetts. Early in the week in a 3-1 win over Westfield State, she paced the offense with 42 assists, while also tallying six aces and nine digs. Simeonidis closed out the week registering another four aces in a five-set win over Smith, while also posting her third double-double of the season, tallying 36 assists and 10 digs. 

Simmons returns to the hard-court at the end of the week when they travel to Maine for a pair of matches against the University of New England on Friday, September 30 and Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Saturday, October 1.
