WINTHROP, Mass. – For the second time this season, sophomore Claire Conners earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week honors announced on Monday afternoon. 

Conners posted a .378 attack percentage with 35 kills on 74 attempts and just seven errors to lead Simmons to a 2-1 week, including a pair of conference wins against Colby-Sawyer and Emmanuel. Early in the week against the Chargers, she averaged 4.33 kills per set as she tallied 13 kills on 20 attempts. Conners closed out the week leading the Sharks, hitting .400 with 13 kills on 25 attempts against the neighboring rival Saints.
