The Sharks controlled Game One from early on in the contest, jumping out to a 6-1 lead on serves from freshman outside hitter Kelly Last (West Haven, Conn.). A Gators time out trailing 19-7 did little to halt a 9-1 run to end the game, with the Sharks closing out a 25-8 victory on consecutive points on Last serves.

Pine Manor opened with a stronger start in Game Two, with a Jen Gross (Coral Springs, FL) service ace to tie the contest 4-4 and take a 5-4 lead on the following volley. Simmons quickly embarked on a 10-1 run on serves from Shamika Johnson (Springfield, Mass.) and Krista Evans (Killen, Ala.) to take a 14-6 lead. In spite of four kills in the game from Gators freshman Alie Johnston (Winnipeg, MB), the Sharks cruised to a 25-14 win.

In Game Three, Simmons opened a 12-4 lead, eventually earning a 25-11 victory over the Gators to close out the evening.

The entire Sharks roster contributed to Tuesday's win. Simmons will return to the court on Thursday night when they travel to Eastern Nazarene for a 7:00pm game.
