Sophomore Kate Fionte (Andover, Mass.) supported her team with stellar defense, while sophomore Meaghan Flynn (Laguna Beach, Calif.) earned 16 kills and junior Taylor Pederson (San Antonio, Texas) racked up 8 kills. Senior Amanda Weaver (Eaton, Ohio) tallied 37 assists, and freshman Kelly Last (West Haven, Conn.) had a great night, with 10 kills and a big offensive presence.

"We showed some great skill last night," said Head Coach Jason Conetta. "It's great to see a fight at the beginning and at the end, however the body of the games were sluggish at times."

The Sharks will play again when they visit GNAC foe Mount Ida on Sunday, October 4 at 2:00pm.
