Softball Announces 2015-16 Recruiting Class

BOSTON, Mass. - Simmons College Softball has announced its 2015-16 recruiting class to begin regular season play in the spring of 2016.

BOSTON, Mass. - Simmons College Softball has announced its 2015-16 recruiting class to begin regular season play in the spring of 2016.

The Sharks will welcome eight players to the squad to vie for the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship.

The following student-athletes will be suiting up for Simmons in the spring.

Samantha Curran (Concord, N.H.), who played for Concord High School.

Victoria Gomes (Taunton, Mass.), who played for Coyle-Cassidy Memorial High School.

Taylor LeBrun (Milford, Mass.), who played for Milford High School.

Mary Martunas (Rutland, Mass.), who played for Wachusett Regional High School.

Alexandra Moleski (Bridgeport, Conn.), who played for Academy of Our Lady of Mercy, Lauralton Hall.

Dominique Ortiz (Haverhill, Mass.), who played for Whittier Regional High School.

Jacqueline Passaretti (East Greenwich, R.I.), who played for East Greenwich High School.

Michaela Reeves (North Reading, Mass.), who played for Reading Memorial High School. 

Simmons Softball finished the season with an 18-15 record to mark the sixth straight season with 18 or more victories and the sixth straight campaign with a winning record. The Sharks boasted an All-Region honoree as well as five All-Conference selections.
