Simmons capped the day's scoring with three runs in the sixth to take a 4-0 advantage. Senior first baseman Jess Uschmann (Feeding Hills, Mass.) dumped a single into right field, before junior pinch runner Amy Maher (Milton, Mass.) stole second and scored on a bullet up the middle off the bat of White for a 2-0 lead.
