BOSTON, Mass. – The Simmons College Athletics Department will present Midnight Madness along with the Simmons Office of Student Leadership and Activities on October 15, 2014 to kick off the 2014-15 women's basketball season for the Sharks.

Midnight Madness is an event that's traditionally been celebrated among the nation's colleges that sponsor basketball as a varsity sport at the NCAA level. 

The event is from 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. and will be held in Moore Gymnasium in the Holmes Sports Center on the residential campus of Simmons. The evening will be jam-packed with plenty of activities, including a dance contest between the Simmons Athletics teams as well as a Beyonce contest, which is open to any Simmons student. There will be plenty of fun and exciting competitions, including, but not limited to a super-sized version of twister, wacky relay races and more! There will also be giveaways, free food and a chance to win a $50 gift card for anyone who attends prior to 10:30 p.m.

Fans will be introduced to the 2014-15 Simmons College basketball team!
