Rosa Moriello joined the Simmons Cross Country staff in August of 2015. 

Moriello enjoyed a celebrated career at Boston University, competing both for the cross country and track teams. She was a five-year member and two-time Captain for the Terriers and helped them to an NCAA Championship appearance in both cross country and track.

The harrier was an integral part of BU's success, winning a pair of individual Patriot League titles in cross country, while also capturing the 3,000 kilometer crown for the indoor track squad twice in addition to winning a pair of 5,000 kilometer titles for the outdoor team. Moriello was well-decorated during her tenure on Commomwealth Avenue, being named to the NCAA All-Northeast Region Team three times for cross country to go with All-New England honors twice. She also won the New England Championship. The Connecticut native was also named the Patriot League Female Athlete of the Year and earned a spot on the Patriot League Cross Country 25th Anniversary team with just 24 other student-athletes.

Moriello graduated from BU in 2015.
