  • Cross Country Places 32nd at NCAA III New England Regional Championship

    WATERFORD, Conn. - The Simmons College women's cross country team saw six of its seven competitors turn in personal-record times to lead the Sharks to a 32nd-place finish today at the NCAA Division III New England Regional Championship at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Conn. Connecticut College hosted the meet. Simmons placed 46th last season.

    STANDISH, Maine - Senior Kara MacLean (Braintree, Mass.) finished third to pace the Simmons College women's cross country team to a second-place finish in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship meet hosted by Saint Joseph's College today in Standish, Maine.
  • Cross Country Competes at Seven Sisters Championship

    HAVERFORD, Pa. - Senior Kara MacLean (Braintree, Mass.) finished 28th and senior Cortney Hanrahan (Southampton, Mass.) improved on last year's race time by over three and a half minutes to help the Simmons College women's cross country team to a seventh-place finish on the six-kilometer course at the Seven Sister's Championship at Haverford College in Haverford, Pa. The race was hosted by Bryn Mawr College.

    BRISTOL, R.I. - Senior Kara MacLean (Braintree, Mass.) placed 25th and junior Kaitlyn Maloney (Amherst, N.H.) registered a personal record as two of 11 runners to better their respective times from last year's race, leading the Simmons College women's cross country team to a seventh-place showing this morning at the Roger Williams Invitational at Colt State Park in Bristol, R.I.

    BOSTON, Mass. - Simmons College Cross Country has announced its 2015-16 recruiting class to begin competing in the fall of 2015.
