NEWTON, Mass. - The Simmons College women's tennis team's match at Mount Ida College has been postponed today due to rain. A make-up date will be announced soon.

The Great Northeast Athletic Conference match was scheduled to be played at 3:00 p.m. in Newton, Mass. on the campus of Mount Ida. 

The Sharks are scheduled to be in action again on Saturday, October 11 at 1:00 p.m. when they travel to New Haven, Conn. to take on GNAC opponent Albertus Magnus College. 

Simmons has currently won four straight matches and is 7-2 overall, including 4-0 in league play. The Sharks have already clinched the GNAC regular-season title and the number one seed in the GNAC Championship tournament.
