A graduate of Haverhill High School, she defeated her opponent at Wheaton, 6-1, 6-4 and came back just two days later to take down her Mount Holyoke College foe, 6-3, 6-1. Cokely defeated her Roger Williams opponent, 6-1, 6-4 in the Sharks' home opener on September 3 and was the victor over her opponent from Clark University, 6-0, 6-0 on September 6 to cap the week. Cokely teamed with classmate Caroline Khoury (Portsmouth, Ohio) to win at number one doubles over Clark, 8-5.

She has been outstanding in league doubles action as well, posting a 10-1 mark in those matches at the top position in the lineup.
