BOSTON, Mass. - The Simmons College tennis team named Meg Cokely (Haverhill, Mass.) and Caroline Khoury (Portsmouth, Ohio) as its Co-Captains for the 2014-15 season, it was announced by Head Coach Bob Rauseo.

Cokely has been one of the most successful singles and doubles players for the Sharks over the last two seasons, compiling a combined 50-24 record between singles and doubles play. The junior posted a combined mark of 22-9 last year, including 12-4 in doubles action. The Haverhill High School product was 9-3 in dual match singles play, including a victory in NCAA Tournament play, while going 11-1 in doubles action in head to head play. Cokely has never lost a conference singles match, putting together a sterling 9-0 record in Great Northeast Athletic Conference contests, primarily at the number three spot in the lineup. She has been outstanding in league doubles action as well, posting a 10-1 mark in those matches at the top spot in the lineup.

Khoury joined Cokely near the top of the doubles lineup by season's end in 2013-14, seeing action in NCAA Tournament play. The junior has a lifetime doubles record of 14-8, including a perfect 7-0 in GNAC matches. A graduate of Portsmouth High School in Ohio, Khoury was unblemished at number one doubles last season with a 2-0 mark and won her only singles tilt as well. She enjoyed a stellar campaign as a freshman, recording a 10-5 record in doubles action.

Simmons owned a 14-6 record last season and won its sixth consecutive GNAC Championship. The Sharks also won their first round dual match in the NCAA Tournament, 5-2, over Gwynedd Mercy University on May 8.
