Frongillo earns All-Conference honors after serving on the Sharks' First Varsity Eight for the entire season. The senior, who is actually graduating a year early has rowed from the middle of the shell on the port side all year. The Tri-Captain has proven to be one of the team's strongest rowers as evidenced by her 7:56.2 erg time, which translates to a mark of 6:47.9 to rank as the fastest weight-adjusted clip on the squad. The Franklin High School product was part of Simmons' entry that placed 22nd in the women's collegiate eight race at the 52nd Annual Head of the Charles Regatta on October 23. Frongillo has also excelled in the classroom, earning a spot on the NEWMAC Rowing All-Academic All-Conference team last week.

Krawczuk has quickly become one of the best rowers on the team. The first year made her debut at the Seven Sisters Championship on October 30, competing in the top Novice shell for the Sharks and was named to the Seven Sisters All-Regatta Team. Krawzcuk earned a spot in the One Varsity Eight boat during the spring racing season, pulling from the port side. She and Frongillo helped Simmons earn third place at the Clark Invitational on April 9 with a season-best time of 7:24.8 on the 2,000-meter course. A graduate of Susquehanna Township High School, Krawczuk has rowed from the middle seats for the Sharks and was a part of the 1V8 that finished fifth for Simmons at the NEWMAC Championship on April 29. Her erg time of 7:31.2 is the fastest on the team without adjustment.

The Sharks return to the water on Saturday, May 6 when they compete at the New England Championship on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass.
