Crew 2V8 Places 2nd in 3rd Level Finals at National Invit. Rowing Championship
May 12, 2017WORCESTER, Mass. - The Simmons College crew team's Second Varsity Eight turned in a spirited finish to place second in the Third Level Finals of the National Invitational Rowing Championships today on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. The regatta was the final event of the season for the Sharks. -

April 26, 2017BOSTON, Mass. – Simmons College seniors Karina Bercan (Derry, N.H.), Alexa Frongillo (Franklin, Mass.), juniors Ronnie Bennett (Pottstown, Pa.), Elizabeth Rea-Wilson (Concord, Mass.) and sophomores Kellie Cann (Needham, Mass.), Eleanor Pullan (Northampton, Mass.) and Madison Summers (Hudson, N.H.) were all named to the 2017 New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference Rowing Academic All-Conference team, it was announced today by the league.

April 08, 2017MALDEN, Mass. - The Simmons College crew team's Second Varsity Eight defeated Trinity College's (Conn.) 2V8 by 39 seconds to highlight a day of head-to-head racing on the Malden River in Malden, Mass. this morning. The Sharks also took on host Tufts University and United States Coast Guard Academy.

Crew Opens Spring Season vs. MIT Lightweight
March 31, 2017BOSTON/CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Simmons College crew team opened the 2017 spring season with a pair of races vs. cross-river neighbor Massachusetts Institute of Technology this morning on the Charles River. The races were moved up a day due to the expected inclement weather conditions. Both races were on a 2,000-meter course with a light tailwind and good water.
