Laura Quicker joins the Sharks as the team's Pitching Coach in 2016-17. 

The New York native was a two-time All-Region and All-Conference honoree at Ithaca College, where she helped the Bombers post a 107-53 (.669) record during her four years, while winning a pair of Empire 8 Conference titles and two NCAA Tournament appearances. Quicker was named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association First Team All-Region and Empire 8 First Team selection following her junior campaign and capped her career with an appearance in the NCAA Super Regionals, while being named named Third Team All-Region and Second Team All-Conference. 

The right-hander posted a 1.47 earned run average as a junior and a 1.99 mark as a senior to contribute to a lifetime 2.00 ERA for Ithaca. She finished her career ranking among the program's all-time leaders with 235 strikeouts (eighth), 372 2/3 innings pitched (9th) and 34 wins (11th), while adding 12 shutouts in 83 career appearances.

Quicker graduated from Ithaca in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management.
