Full NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction
GENEVA, N.Y. – Sophomore Emilia Elko and first-year Ainslee Shrout were amongst the 470 student-athletes in Division III to be recognized as NFHCA Scholars of Distinction, announced by the coaching organization on Thursday.
The Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of 2022-23 academic year.
Elko and Shrout were also named to the 2022 NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad last week and were two of 34 GNAC student-athletes to receive Scholar of Distincition recognition. It is Elko's second time being selected and a first for Shrout.
The NFHCA National Academic Team will be announced next week along with the National Scholar-Athlete.
