Field Hockey Scores Fifth-Highest GPA in Nation; Receives an NFHCA National Academic Team AwardMarch 09, 2017CHANDLER, Ariz. - The Simmons College field hockey team posted a 3.63 fall semester grade point average to earn the 2016 ZAG Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Collegiate National Academic Team Award it was announced today by the NFHCA. Both players also earned First Team All-Conference honors, while Ana Giarrusso (Hingham, Mass.), Sammy Rondeau (Franklin, Mass.) and Brianna Rastello (Salem, N.H.) were all selected to the Second Team, it was announced today by the league. Senior Amy Wilson (Falmouth, Mass.) was tabbed to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team as well.
