Simmons Softball to Participate in Coaches vs. Cancer Program

BOSTON, Mass. – The Simmons College softball team and Head Coach Anne Forsythe will team up with the American Cancer Society and participate in the Coaches vs. Cancer initiative on Saturday, April 11.

During the Sharks’ doubleheader with Albertus Magnus College on Saturday, April 11, fans will have an opportunity to take part in fund-raising activities that will benefit the life-saving work of the American Cancer Society and its Coaches vs. Cancer initiative. Games are scheduled for 12:00pm and 2:00pm and will be held on the campus of Lasell College in Newton, Mass.

Simmons softball collecting donations online and needs your support. Fans and supporters can contribute to the team’s fundraising by clicking the link below. The team held a bake sale on campus last week to benefit the American Cancer Society. The Sharks will also wear special pink camouflage shirts during pre-game warm-ups to show their support for the cause. We hope you will come out and support your team for this great cause.
