What is Fit at Simmons?
Fit at Simmons provides a variety of non-credit fitness and recreation activities to the Simmons community. Offerings include group exercise classes, outings, field trips, and running groups. The program’s mission is to provide the opportunities to help encourage students to stay active, incorporate regular exercise into their lives, and to develop lifestyles of physical fitness and health. Most all events are free for Simmons students and are supported by a generous gift from Nancy Gavrin, Simmons '58.

Fit at Simmons Group Exercise Classes
Fit at Simmons offers a range of classes including Yoga, emerging fitness disciplines, Spinning and dance options. Please check out our class schedule for current offerings.

Simmons also offers Masters Swimming, Children’s Swimming Lessons, as well as private and semi-private swim instruction. Please visit the Aquatics page for more information on aquatics programming.

Who can participate?
Fit at Simmons is only open to Simmons College undergraduate, graduate students. Guests are permitted on a space-available basis only.

What does it cost to participate in Group Exercise Classes?
Fit at Simmons group exercise classes are free for all Simmons undergraduate and graduate students. A fee for group exercise classes does apply for Simmons faculty and staff members as well as sports center members and guests. Visit our Payment Info page for fee information.

Other Fit at Simmons Activities
